Today we learned about more armor from God to help us stand strong in the battle for truth at Grace Bible Day Camp!

Our memory verse today was Ephesians 6:14a, "Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth."

As troops traveled around to the various parts of the kingdom today, they began to learn about the armor God gives us once we’re inside His Kingdom! The first piece of armor is the belt of truth. Now these aren’t like the belts we have; this was a belt that wrapped around a tunic or other clothing to hold it all in place so that it wasn’t flailing around during combat. The truth is what keeps a Christian anchored, and the BIBLE is the ultimate source of truth! Without the Bible, we are mindlessly flapping around without any source of divine truth and instruction from God!

The rhyme of the day was “in your youth, know the truth.”

The Navy Knights & Red Raiders showed lots of team spirit today. Our cheering and singing is getting pretty loud! Troops listened well in lesson time, worked hard at crafts, snacked hard, and played hard during games. We learned fun facts about dragons in the morning, and stayed cool in the afternoon with a sponge relay race.
